Fill in the masses of A and B and their starting velocities (B can have negative velocity) and the coefficient of restitution. Press Submit each time.

Calculate the velocities for the masses after the collision. If you want to see the correct velocities press Show Answers.

Press Reset to repeat the simulation with different masses, velocities and coefficient of restitution.

It is interesting to just change the coefficient of restitution and see the effect.
